Giving Back

Starting 2024, every time you book an event, Events by Julie, LLC, will donate a percentage of the booking fee to your choice of one of the following nonprofits.

Serving as Community Projects Chair for the Junior League of Lexington, I was grateful to connect with incredible nonprofits and passionate people serving the Lexington community. The following four nonprofits in particular speak to my heart: GreenHouse17, Lexington Humane Society and The Children’s Advocacy Center, and Mission 108.

I’ve personally volunteered for and collaborated with each of these nonprofits, and can wholeheartedly attest to their dedication, and I’ve seen their work change lives.

Greenhouse17

“We are a nonprofit organization committed to ending intimate partner abuse in families and the community. Our shelter in rural Fayette County, Kentucky is surrounded by a beautiful 40-acre property. We farm this land to offer nature-based healing, nutritious field-to-table produce, and job training for survivors. Nurturing lives harmed by intimate partner abuse.”

Lexington Humane Society

“Lexington Humane Society is the largest pet adoption agency in Central Kentucky.”

Children’s Advocacy Center

“The Children’s Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass (CACBG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the trauma experienced by child victims of sexual abuse.”

Mission 108

“Mission 108 is a non-profit organization advocating to end human trafficking in India and beyond.”
